Playful Cartoon and Kids' Music

Light, bouncy tracks for animation, kids' channels and classroom videos: Playground Day for running around, Clumsy Bugs for slapstick, Bed Time Story for winding down, and Creaking House for spooky-but-silly scenes. Add funny sound effects or toon sounds on top.

How to score a cartoon or kids' video

If you're animating, choose the track first and note its tempo, then put key poses on the beats so motion and music lock together.
Change the music when the mood changes. A chase, a nap and a scare each want their own track, and a clean switch is easy for young viewers to follow.
Keep narration on top. When a character speaks, drop the music further than you would in an edit for adults, so every word is clear.
Punctuate gags with a slide whistle or kazoo, and add cartoon VFX for pops and puffs of smoke.
Animate to the WAV and export with that same file. MP3s can begin with a few milliseconds of encoder padding, which comes close to a frame of drift on tight sync.
