Logo Jingles for Intros and Podcasts

A few seconds of music to brand a channel intro, title card or podcast opener. Many lean mysterious: Mystery Piano, Mystery Harp and Mystery Arp variations, the numbered Suspenseful Ident series and a pair of Scary Hits, suited to true crime, horror and mystery channels.

Podcasting? Start from the WAV

Podcasts usually go out as MP3, but edit with the WAV. Encoding an MP3 a second time stacks up more compression artifacts.

How to add a jingle to an intro or podcast

Cut to the title card on the jingle's first note, not after it, so sound and picture arrive together.
Keep a channel intro short. Viewers skip long openers, so one jingle and a logo is plenty before the content starts.
Audition several numbered versions from one series. Close variations can mark the intro, segment breaks and outro without repeating the exact sound.
For a horror channel, pair a Scary Hit with Halloween motion graphics or horror sound design.
Fill out the rest of the episode with noir and mystery music.
